Congratulations Emma Quinn
Written by Mick O'Donovan
Sunday, 02 November 2008
The club would like to extend a huge CONGRATULATIONS, Comhghairdeas mór, to Emma Quinn. Emma is a member of the Under 11 Camogie team who made it to the final of their championship this year only to be pipped by an extremely strong Mearnog team. Emma was today named PLAYER OF THE YEAR at Under 11 Grade for the whole of the Dublin Camogie grade she plays in.
The is an outstanding achievement and is just rewards for a superb year of camogie for Emma. All of her team mates were delighted for Emma on getting this award and Emma's mentors (including her father Tommy) are extremely proud of her. Likewise, the club is very proud of Emma too. She has a fine camogie future ahead of her and we wish her every success!
Bualadh bos Emma!

Championship Presentation Night
Written by Mick O'Donovan
Thursday, 23 October 2008
Friday the 7th November next is a special night in the club. It's the night that our Fixtures section honour the Championship winning teams of 2007 - namely the Junior A Football Championship winning side and the Under21 Championship winning side.
As well as this, as it's 25 years this year since we the club won its first Senior county title in any code, the section is also honouring the Senior Hurling Championship winning side of 1983 and the minor team of that same year who also won the championship - some achievement in itself.
It proves to be a very special night indeed with a sit down 3 course meal to and music in the hall to really celebrate in style.
If you wish to join in the celebration a limited number of tickets are available priced at €25 each and this includes entry on the night and a 3 course meal but more importantly your chance to show your appreciation for the four teams involved in this presentation night. Tickets are available from Mary Nolan, Joe Byrne or Joe Tarpey or any member of the Fixtures committee.
Hope to see you there!

The Lotto Committee would like to encourage all members to support the club lotto every week in 2008. Also, as it's likely time for Direct Debits to be renewed, memebers are asked not to forget that the most effective and efficient way of doing the club lottery every week is via our Direct Debit system. You can find an application form for the service, which gives you entry into a full years Lotto Draws (50 draws), for only €90, a saving of €10 euro at www.erinsislegaa.com/images/LottoDirectDebit.doc. You will also be gaurenteed entry into each draw.
