After much delay, Kinawley eventually got in a game in the Ulster League but it was not to be a successful debut as the Brian Boru's slipped to a four point defeat at the hands of visiting Derry club Lavey.

Kinawley GFC held their annual dinner dance on January 20th 2007 in the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan. A great night was had by all and we are particulary grateful to the Kilmore staff/Management for their excellent service along with  Francie Smyth & Anthoney McBrien who provided music on the night.

Kinawley Brian Borus this week mourn the passing of one of their greatest ever footballers Vincie Greene. Vincie passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday 6th October aged 67, he had just returned home from the Intermediate final in Patrick McManus Park Kinawley.
