A disappointing conclusion to the weekend’s action with the senior team losing out in dramatic fashion to neighbours Derrylin. In a game that lacked the usual derby passion it was the visitors who settled faster looking better organised and sharper. Match report to follow

Playing with the breeze in the first half the home side opened up the visitors to establish a seven point lead at half time. Scores coming from Ciaran Boyle, Simon Corrigan, Sean Hussy and Sean Crudden. The second half saw Aughdrumsee launch a fight back with which they closed the gap to within three points by the final whistle.

The Junior team bounced back from the disappointment of last weeks draw with Belnaleck to record a four point win over neighbours Derrylin. In a solid team performance Ciaran Boyle in midfield and John McHugh in the half forward line stood out both putting in fine displays.

The senior team got their league campaign off to a winning start with an away win over Aughdrumsee. Tomas Corrigan impressed in the forward line and finished the day with 5 points. Other scores on the day came from Sean Doc, Sean (dubh) Leonard and Matthew Drumm.

Fermanagh Ladies win Ulster
Congratulations to Fermanagh Ladies on winning the Ulster title. Included in the team who beat Cavan 1.10 - 1.08 were two Kinawley ladies Tricia Melanaphy & Janette McManus. Well done to everyone involved & lets hope their success spurs on the men in their quest for the Anglo Celt.
