Kinawley GFC are holding a Gala Ball to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the football club which was formed in 1888. This will be a BLACK TIE event & shall take place on Nov' 1st 2008 in the Slieve Russell Hotel. Tickets for the event will cost £100 each. (Tables of 10 will cost £1000).

Any company, organisation or individual who wants to host a  table can contact a commiittee member.

Rooms are available in Slieve Russell Hotel at around €170 or £130 per double or twin room.

(€85 per person in a double room. €115 for a single room.)  Anyone who wants to book a room should state that they are attending the ball and the reduced rate will be given.

It has been decided that Feile Cill Náile '07 will be a shorter more condensed festival than in previous years. It is hoped to run in 2007 from Friday 17th August - Wednesday 22nd August.

After much delay, Kinawley eventually got in a game in the Ulster League but it was not to be a successful debut as the Brian Boru's slipped to a four point defeat at the hands of visiting Derry club Lavey.

The 2007 Championship draw has been made. Kinawley V Derrylin in the Intermediate Championship is the pick of the opening rounds.

Kinawley GFC held their annual dinner dance on January 20th 2007 in the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan. A great night was had by all and we are particulary grateful to the Kilmore staff/Management for their excellent service along with  Francie Smyth & Anthoney McBrien who provided music on the night.

The draw has been made for the South Ulster League. We have been drawn with Rossa (Antrim), Doohamlet (Monaghan), Lavey (Derry) and Carrickmore (Tyrone) .

Kinawley Brian Borus this week mourn the passing of one of their greatest ever footballers Vincie Greene. Vincie passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday 6th October aged 67, he had just returned home from the Intermediate final in Patrick McManus Park Kinawley.
