From the throw in Kinawley went on the attack & an early through ball found Sean Crudden one on one with the goal keeper, he blasted wide from close range. Tomás Corrigan opened the scoring in the 10th minute with a point from play, this was replied a few minutes later with a point from Mark O'Callaghan for Enniskillen.

 Kinawley had further points from Corrigan (21mF) & Sean Crudden & looked comfortable in the opening half.  Enniskillen Gaels got 2 late points from Darren Lavelle & Sean Morris. Second half saw Enniskillen edge in front for the 1st 10 minutes & they got a Goal from Darren Lavelle which was replied five minutes later with a goal mouth scramble from a Corrigan 45 which was toe-poked in by Aidan Clarke. Kinawley were soon a man down when Sean McManus was sent off for a second booking.  Brian Smyth pointed to put Enniskillen in the lead again. Then a Noel Martin point was dissallowed after the Enniskillen umpire adjudged it to be a wide ball. Enniskillen went 2 points up with 10 minutes to go but a pointed free from Sean Crudden ensured a tight finish to the game. Conor Kelly scored Enniskillens last score with five minutes to go but Kinawley finished strongest with 2 more scores both frees from Sean Crudden & Corrigan.

Fermanagh Ladies win Ulster
Congratulations to Fermanagh Ladies on winning the Ulster title. Included in the team who beat Cavan 1.10 - 1.08 were two Kinawley ladies Tricia Melanaphy & Janette McManus. Well done to everyone involved & lets hope their success spurs on the men in their quest for the Anglo Celt.

Anyone who has ordered tickets for Ulster Final should be able to collect them from the Clubrooms on Thursday 17th July evening after 8pm.
 
Patrick McManus Memorial Match

Next Sat' July 12th ,6.30pm at Patrick McManus Park Kinawley there will be a game between the 1978 Intermediate Champions & the 1993 C'ship Finalists.

A new sign to commemorate Patrick McManus' 50th Anniversary will be unveiled at 6pm. Underage football from  4pm.

Afterwards there will be entertainment in Roches

 
Fixture change (sen')
Coa have pulled out of the Summer Competition so Sen' game is off on Thurs' night, next sen' game against Tempo in Kinawley on Sunday is at 3.30 & not 7.30 as shown in Herald.
 
Junior Championship postponed
Reserve B Junior Championship game against Irvinestown fixed for Wed' evening has been postponed until Sat' @ 6.30 following a bereavement.
