On Saturday 19th May, 2012, from 10am, Kinawley GAA is facilitating a Cardiac Screening day whereby male or female club members between the ages of 14-35 years old are eligible to be screened. This event is organised by “Health Hearts Healthy Lives”, a mobile heart screening service, set up by former GAA players John and Tony McEntee.
The screening only takes 5-7 minutes to complete and is a non-invasive, pain free procedure. Under 16’s do require parental/guardian consent and each individual is required to complete a questionnaire. A copy of this questionnaire can be obtained when you book the appointment. The cost of this is £35 per person. With regard to students and U18s, we have decided to offer a subsidised rate. The cost will be £25.00 per person. If there are two or more persons in the one family, the cost will be £20.00 each.
